5. Automated processing disclosure
The AutoCBAM calculator uses EU default emissions factors (IR 2023/1773) to produce an informational cost estimate. It is NOT a legally binding CBAM declaration — your binding declaration is what you file in the EU CBAM Registry, verified by an accredited verifier. You always have the right to request human review and contest any estimate.
